Payment

Payment is via credit card only and all credit card payments are processed through DPS. This is an electronic payment service that enables us to safely and securely accept and process customer payments. If you have any questions about this service please contact us at online@rubynz.com

Price of goods

The price you pay for the goods will be the price specified on the website. If you are outside of New Zealand this is relevant to the daily exchange rate as provided by xe.com at the time of the purchase.

You also agree to pay the delivery and handling fee if you are located outside of New Zealand ($20NZD). You are liable for any international import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to which may be required in order to release your order from customs on arrival into your country.

RUBY prices are subject to variation without notice. The price payable for the goods shall be the price applicable on the date the goods are confirmed as ordered.

Exchanges

RUBY has a 14 day exchange period on all items, excluding beauty items.

If returning an item back to the online store, before you return the item, please email us at online@rubynz.com within 3 days of receiving the item with your invoice number, what you’re returning and what you would like to exchange it for.

If you are exchanging the item at one of our stores, please provide proof of purchase (i.e. a copy of your invoice).

Items must be returned within 14 days.

Items must be exchanged for something of the same or greater value.

Items must not be worn, altered, soiled or washed and hygiene seal still in place where necessary (e.g. swimwear).

Items must have all tags and packaging attached.

Footwear must include the original shoe box in its original condition, without postal labels.

Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

We will then assess the item once returned to ensure it is unused, unaltered, unwashed with all original tags and packaging enclosed.

It is important that you clearly write on the outside of your package the invoice number along with your name and address.

We do not accept exchanges on beauty products due to health regulations, however you can exchange unworn lingerie or swimwear, provided this has been tried on over your underwear.

Faulty Items

Before returning any item, please contact us at online@rubynz.com within 3 days of receiving the item with your invoice number, what you’re returning and why. RUBY will then issue you with a RA number.

Ruby will happily repair or replace all goods that are classified as faulty after been assessed by RUBY.

If we cannot repair or replace your item we will refund you at the price the item was purchased at.

Items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. RUBY will assess the returned faulty item and at their discretion determine the fault.

If you have an item that is faulty and you have worn it, please send it back to us clean. Soiled returns will not be accepted.

All deliveries will be dispatched from RUBY within 1 - 2 days.

Courier Post (Deliveries within New Zealand only):

  • Delivery to towns and cities within New Zealand generally will be the following working day
  • We can courier to physical addresses, including rural addresses, however not to a P.O. Box
  • Track & Trace facility offered for the status of your parcel from pick up to delivery
  • Orders are processed from the RUBY online store in Auckland, New Zealand

  • RUBY are not responsible for custom duties charges. For further information please contact your local customs or post service.
  • Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only – delays caused by the customs clearance processes are out of our control
  • Please note we are unable to ship nail polishes outside of New Zealand.

  • For international orders, import duty, customs fees and local sales taxes (levies) may be charged to you by the destination country’s authorities, depending upon the laws and regulations of that country.
